Welcome to Houston Friends of the Airport!

With our excellent international transportation infrastructure, Houston is a key exchange point for passengers and goods from all over the Americas — North, Central and South. The Houston Airport System, which includes George Bush Intercontinental Airport, William P. Hobby Airport and Ellington Field, is one of the most powerful generators of jobs and economic growth in this entire region, and plays a key role in creating the quality of life we enjoy.

Serving more than 48 million passengers each year, and supporting more than 151,000 local jobs, the Houston Airport System provides a $25 billion economic benefit to this region alone. So whether it is the need for increased security to move international passengers more quickly, or the need to expand capacity, we must ensure steady growth of the Houston Airport System.

Houston Friends of the Airport recognizes the value of our airport system as a vital link to economic growth. I invite you to find out more, or contact us with your questions.
